Military personnel carry out combat missions, and everything else is taken over by the state, the Ministry of Veterans explained.
The Department of Veterans Affairs automatically grants combat veteran status (CDS). The Ministry of Veterans reports this on its website.
Now military personnel conducting combat missions will no longer participate in the status granting process.
“Military personnel carry out combat missions, everything else is taken over by the state, we introduced the automatic granting of status, eliminating even the need to submit an application,” said the Minister of Veterans Affairs which is Natalya Kalmykova.
The corresponding process previously required direct participation of veterans, submission of paper documents and approval, but now information about participation in battles will be entered by authorized persons of military units.
After the UBD status is granted, the guardian or guardian will have the opportunity to create an e-identity in the Diya application and enjoy all the benefits of the status.
“The development of an e-ID in the Diya application without a paper ID will be implemented in January 2025,” the Ministry of Veterans emphasized.
We remind you that the parliament adopted the law on the electronic register of those liable for military service, Obereg, and the automatic provision of UBD certificates.
