Russia’s war against Ukraine could end as early as 2025.
The newly elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is the only person who can stop the war in Ukraine. The fighting could end in the next few months. The future US special representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, said this on Fox.
In a conversation with reporters, Kellogg noted that he would not be surprised if the new Trump invited Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to negotiations in Washington.
You know, Trump plays chess on three levels, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he did something like that. Can he do it? Of course he could do it. He would take such a bold step. But when it comes to Ukraine and Russia, I really believe that everything will be resolved within a few months, because the only person who can do it is President Donald Trump, and he will do it,” he said.
Kellogg also stressed that the idea of doing such a meeting was “really, really good.”
And NBC News, citing sources, reported that Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan had several conversations with his successor Mike Waltz. They discussed current information, but did not yet address strategy for ending the war or securing a truce.
Let us recall that the elected US President Donald Trump, who during the election campaign stated that he would conclude a peace agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine in 24 hours, admitted that this is more difficult than he thought. The new American leader emphasized that “the Middle East is an easier problem than what is happening with Russia and Ukraine.”
