Sources explained that the proposal in the Belgian capital “will be further discussed politically in the coming weeks and months.”
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will visit Brussels on Wednesday, December 19, where he is scheduled to meet with the leaders of the EU and NATO countries. Reuters news agency reported this with reference to sources on Friday, December 13.
Media said Zelensky was scheduled to meet with the leaders of Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Poland.
The meeting, organized by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, will include a joint session and several bilateral meetings with Zelensky.
The Ukrainian head of state, in particular, planned to discuss support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.
“This is not a meeting where concrete decisions will be made, it will be more political, which will be discussed in the coming weeks and months,” the source told the media.
We previously wrote that Vladimir Zelensky and Mark Rutte discussed the fight against Russian air terror.
