The Ukrainian national team recognized its opponents in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup selection.
The blue-yellows will play against the following teams:

The group round matches of the 2026 World Cup qualification will take place from March 21 to November 18, 2025.
The draw took place in Zurich, at the FIFA headquarters.
Our team ended up in the second qualifying pot.
The next World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The 2026 World Cup will be the first in history where 48 teams will play. UEFA received 16 tickets. 12 of them will go to the winners of their qualifying groups. Four will be played in the playoffs.
The 12 teams that finished second in their groups, as well as the top four rated Nations League group winners who did not qualify directly for the World Cup and did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup, will qualify for the playoffs.
These 16 teams will be divided into 4 paths, in which two rounds of one-match playoffs (semi-finals and finals) will be played.
