On Friday morning, the Carpathian region suffered its heaviest attack since Russia’s full-scale invasion began. This was reported by the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration Svetlana Onischuk in Telegram on December 13.
According to him, the enemy attacked the region with drones and cruise missiles. Critical infrastructure facilities were targeted.
“There was a hit! So far, fortunately, there are no casualties our air defense forces are involved in the scene to overcome the consequences of the attack,” Onischuk wrote.
In this regard, the head of Lviv OVA, Maxim Kozitsky, said that the Russians attacked energy facilities in the region. There is no information about casualties, clarifying the consequences. But due to shelling there will be changes in power outage schedules.
We remind you that on the morning of December 13, the Russians carried out another massive attack on the Ukrainian energy system using drones and missiles. A significant part of the missiles attacked the western regions.
Later, President Vladimir Zelensky gave details of repelling the attack and said that this was what Vladimir Putin’s “peaceful” plan looked like.
