The situation around the so-called Uspenovsky bag in the Kurakhovsky direction is increasingly deteriorating; the units of the Defense Forces located here may be surrounded.
The monitoring group DeepState writes about this today, December 12, in the evening.
It is noted that the latest messages from there are “not very reassuring.”
It is worth highlighting several key places in the “bag” – located directly in it Elizavetovka-Romanovka-Veselyi Gai-Annovka, where the enemy is trying to break through without stopping, literally, from all sides, notes DeepState. – And also Trudovoye-Uspenika-Dalneye, which play a major role in the maintenance of this “bag”. It is from Dalny and Trudovoy that the Katsaps climb into Uspenovka, where the “bag” closes.
The enemy has repeatedly located itself in Uspenovka and is actively trying to storm it, gain a foothold for further advancement and complete capture of the village. The defense forces are trying to clear the buildings from the enemy, but this is not completely possible.
The number of infantry is only growing. Also, according to the information known to us, the enemy has the opportunity to make maneuvers between Uspenovka and Ganovka, which actually cut off the grouping of SOU units in the “bag,” said DeepState.
There is no confirmation that the enemy was able to gain a direct foothold there, so the area on the map only moved into the gray zone. The Ukrainian military is also actively working on stabilization, so there is a possibility that the enemy will not be allowed to gain a foothold there, time will tell,” the monitoring group added.
It is noted that the enemy is occupying more and more territory directly in Uspenovka, risking closing the ring and leaving Defense Force units in Ganovka, Uspenovka, Trudovoy, Vesely Roshcha and Romanovka.
Also, according to DeepState, Colonel Alexander Lutsenko was removed from his post as commander of OTU Donetsk:
According to our information, he has been removed from his post and will occupy a position in the command of the Ground Forces.
