It is indicated that a meeting was held in Berlin between the heads of the diplomatic departments of Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Great Britain, France, Ukraine and the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Kai Kallas.

“Achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine is inextricably linked to ensuring stable European security. Ukraine must win. Therefore, after more than 1,000 days of Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine , we maintain our strong unity. We will continue to support Ukraine’s right to self-defense,” – noted in the statement.

The meeting participants pledged to expand military, economic and financial assistance to Ukraine, including through additional resources mobilized by the European Union.

They also noted the need to provide Ukraine with “strong security guarantees,” including long-term military and financial support:

The officials expressed their support for a “comprehensive, just and sustainable peace” for Ukraine, based on international law and respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.

They also endorsed the Peace Formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling it “a reliable path to establishing a just and sustainable peace.”

In addition, meeting participants pledged to continue to limit Russia’s ability to build military power, as well as to put additional pressure on the Kremlin’s sources of income, including the energy sector.

We remind you that the leaders of the G7 and partner countries on Wednesday, September 25, adopted a Joint Declaration to support the recovery of Ukraine.
