In the Zhytomyr region, three people – two women and a man – were poisoned by carbon monoxide.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
The event took place in a private residential building in the village of Ruzhin, Berdichevsky district.
The victims were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of one of the local hospitals.
Signs of a fire have not been identified, all circumstances are being clarified by specialists, the department said.
The State Emergency Service notes that carbon monoxide is invisible, odorless and tasteless, but very dangerous even in small concentrations.
It can cause poisoning and pose a threat to life. Follow safety rules to protect yourself and your loved ones! – the department notes.
