The need for economical energy consumption continues throughout the day, the energy sector warns.
Ukraine maintains a high level of electricity consumption and a shortage of electricity in the energy system. Ukrenergo reported this on Thursday, December 12.
“Consumption remains at a constant high level, which corresponds to seasonal indicators Today, at 6:30, its level is the same as this time last day – Wednesday,” the message said.
Yesterday, December 11, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning – it was 1.4% less than the previous day.
“The Ukrainian energy system continues to recover after 11 major attacks by the Russians since the beginning of this year, and there remains a significant power shortage in energy facilities, and therefore the hourly loss for household consumers and power limit schedules for industry and forced to apply business,” recalled the company .
It was noted that the situation in the energy system is changing, and accordingly, changes in the application of restrictive measures are possible.
Today, Ukraine imports electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 12,378 MWh, with a peak power of up to 924 MW at certain times.
We remind you that on December 10, new power outages were recorded in Ukraine due to bad weather. They occupied four places. And on Wednesday, Ukrenergo reported blackouts in the Odessa region.
