The Russian invaders wanted to “verify” the entire local population over 14 years of age in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In the temporarily occupied territories in 2025, the occupiers plan to remove the right of residence of Ukrainians who do not have Russian citizenship. These people will have limited rights in society. The Center for National Resistance (CNS) reported this on Wednesday, December 11.
“By January 2025, the aggressors aim to remove the residency rights of ‘stateless persons in the temporarily occupied territories (TOTs)’,” CNS said.
It was learned that these “people” were local residents who were being turned into “illegal migrants” by the enemy in their homes. After the change of status, Ukrainians will be limited in their rights to medicine, work and social benefits.
“Now the employees of the Russian occupation administrations are informing all controlled enterprises about the mandatory passport of workers and threatening dismissal if they refuse,” the message said.
From December, the “passport” of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”, which the occupiers forced residents of the temporarily occupied Donbass to receive since 2014, will become invalid. The Russian Federation plans to issue a maximum number of passports to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
It was previously reported that in the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians plan to assign the status of foreign citizens or stateless persons to citizens without Russian passports from January 1, 2025.
