A specially trained dog responded to the passenger’s personal belongings, where they found five chocolates containing narcotics.
At the Krakovets checkpoint, a specially trained dog, Jessica, helped detect chocolate with drugs on passengers. The State Tax Service reported this on Sunday, December 8.
“At the Krakovets checkpoint on the Polish border, border guards of the Lviv detachment, with the help of a drug-sniffing service dog, Jessica, discovered chocolate with datura,” the report said.
It was noticed that during a check of the Odessa-Schweinfurt bus, the spaniel Jessica reacted to the personal belongings of a 28-year-old passenger, where they found a package containing five chocolates in the bag. The sweets, shaped like a Christmas star, are wrapped in foil.
The woman admitted that the chocolate contained an unusual filler – TGK (tetrahydrocannabinol – the main psychoactive component of cannabis). The passenger said the drug-laced chocolate was given to him by a friend who offered to treat it to his friends in Germany.
The border guards sent a notification to the National Police that signs of crime had been found.
It was previously reported that at the Krakovets checkpoint, a border guard dog found dozens of cartridges in a car.
Before this, a border dog sniffed out drugs from a pensioner. An elderly woman tried to cross the Ukrainian-Russian border with two bottles full of marijuana.
