The Americans still support providing military assistance to Ukraine, but want the war to end at the negotiating table.
This is evidenced by a study from the Reagan Institute.
The extension of military assistance to Ukraine is supported by 55% of respondents, this figure has decreased slightly compared to previous years (59% in 2023). Do not support – 35%.
74% of respondents from supporters of Democrat Kamala Harris and 42% of Republican Donald Trump support continued support.
59% of Americans surveyed were in favor of Ukraine starting peace negotiations, even at the cost of territorial concessions.
Both Trump fans (63%) and Harris fans (55%) think so.
Assessing the situation on the battlefield, 41% of respondents answered that Russia will win now, 24% that Ukraine will win, and 22% of respondents believe that neither side will win.
Those who see Russia as a winner are more likely to be Trump fans, and Harris fans of Ukraine.
