On the eve of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshny presented the new commemorative coins at a meeting with military personnel during a working visit to Eastern Ukraine.
The National Bank of Ukraine created commemorative coins “Neither a Bullet, nor a Saber!”, which will become a talisman for modern defenders of Ukraine. The NBU press service reported this on Friday, December 6.
“We made the image of Cossacks-characterists on new commemorative coins, which will be a talisman for every serviceman. They will protect modern defenders and defenders of Ukraine from the machinations of the enemy, so that neither fire, nor water, or a saber, or a bullet will strike them. Indeed, today, when Ukraine is again fighting for its freedom, the Ukrainian warriors, like their glorious Cossack ancestors, show supernatural courage and extraordinary resilience,” said the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshny.
On the obverse of the commemorative coins in the center of the composition there is a stylized figure of a military man carefully holding in his hands and protecting the small State Emblem of Ukraine – a symbol of freedom and independence. The composition symbolizes the primordial desire of the Ukrainian people to live in their own sovereign state. On a matte background there are enemy balls that reflect the military without hitting the “Soul of Ukraine.”
On the contrary, in the background of the glass, there is a stylized image of a Cossack character guarding a bird – a symbol of will, visually reminiscent of a trident. The composition reflects the connection between modern warfare and the Ukrainian spirit of the Cossack era. On a matte background hacked enemy sabers, powerless before the unbroken love for their native land and the desire for freedom.
Commemorative coins “Neither bullet nor saber!” put into circulation on December 4, 2024. They continue the “Armed Forces of Ukraine” series.
Remind us that on Saturday, April 13, the National Bank of Ukraine presented the first commemorative coin Ukrainian Bavovna. Neptune from the Armed Forces of Ukraine series.
Ukrposhta presented and put into circulation the first stamps under martial law “Russian warship, go…!”
