Rutte identified three main areas for the near future: rebuilding the energy infrastructure, strengthening air defense and increasing military support.
“First of all, we must help you rebuild your energy networks and energy infrastructure as much as possible. We cannot allow winter to be used as a weapon against Ukraine. We discussed this with Antony Blinken this morning, and it is an important element. Second, we have provided reliable air defense, we have done a lot, but we need to make sure that the country is as safe as possible in terms of air defense,” he noted.
The Secretary General of NATO assured that the allies will stand firmly on the side of Ukraine and continue to provide the necessary weapons.
