A subcommittee of the U.S. Oversight and Accountability Commission released a 520-page report on the COVID-19 pandemic, covering its causes, origins, progress, lessons learned, and manipulations experienced by citizens.
The coronavirus was grown in a Chinese laboratory with financial support from the United States, and employees of the Wuhan Institute of Virology conducted experiments to enhance the functions of viruses, including their genetic modifications, and did not comply with biosafety rules. States funded research at this institute through grants.
During the investigation since February 2023 there were:
- more than 100 investigative letters sent;
- more than 30 interviews were conducted;
- 25 hearings and meetings were organized;
- More than a million pages of documents were analyzed.
Report reveals the origins of COVID-19.
According to five key arguments, it is considered that the virus hypothetically originated in a laboratory in Wuhan (China). Among the evidence:
- biological characteristics not found in nature;
- lack of evidence of natural origin;
- history of gain-of-function studies in low-security laboratories;
- illness among researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2019;
- a single injection of a virus into a person that differs from normal spread.
Gain-of-function research may have caused a pandemic because mechanisms for monitoring these dangerous experiments remain incomplete and poorly regulated.
Financial abuse
Fraudsters have caused more than $191 billion in losses by exploiting unemployment and unemployment insurance programs.
At least half of the losses are the result of international fraud.
Limitation
The lockdown policy has damaged the economy, health and well-being of the population, especially young people.
Evidence of the scientific validity of social distancing, masks and lockdowns was insufficient, which caused some ambiguity about these methods. At the same time, they are recognized as necessary in some cases to reduce the burden on health care systems.
Vaccination
- Ignoring natural immunity has caused controversy.
- Vaccine mandates have been criticized as a violation of personal freedoms.
- The vaccine did not stop transmission of the virus, but was effective in preventing severe disease and reducing mortality.
Economy
- Due to the closure, more than 160,000 businesses have stopped their operations, 60% of them permanently.
- Lack of diversification in supply chains has exacerbated economic problems.
Education
- School closures have resulted in educational losses, psychological stress for children and deterioration in their physical health.
- Test results show children have lost a decade of academic progress as a result of school closures due to COVID-19.
- Mental and physical health problems have also increased sharply, with suicide attempts among girls aged 12-17 up by 51%.
The pandemic has only aggravated the problems of society and hastened the onset of crises in many areas of life and has shown the inability of the authorities to properly respond to such disasters.
Joe Biden’s administration even used undemocratic and likely unconstitutional methods, including pressuring social media companies to censor certain COVID-19 content to combat what it saw as misinformation.
