Young Russian agents were detained for committing a terrorist act in the Kyiv region.
The SBU and the National Police detained two minors recruited by Russian intelligence services. On November 28, these attackers committed a terrorist attack in the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region – they detonated an improvised explosive device near the building of the local regional police department. No one was injured as a result of the incident. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
For the terrorist attack, the young men used explosives disguised as a thermos and lying in a cache in the Kiev region. The explosion was broadcast live via smartphone. No one was injured as a result of the terrorist attack.
The attackers turned out to be two 14-year-old residents of the community, whom the occupiers recruited remotely via Telegram. However, they never received the promised money from the Russians.
The detainees have already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 258 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Now they face up to 12 years in prison.
Let us remind you that recently law enforcement officers detained five Russian agents who on November 20 detonated an explosive device in the central part of Zhitomir. The gang was led by a 46-year-old Kharkov resident, who recruited 15, 16, 18 and 20-year-old residents of Zhitomir into terrorist activities.
