The Ukrainian defense forces drove the occupiers out of the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskol River in the Kharkov region.
In the area of the village of Novomlynsk, Kupyansky district, the invaders tried to seize and hold a bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskol River. Having an advantage in strength, the enemy even crossed the water obstacle. However, artillery and UAV operators began attacking the enemy. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Facebook on December 3.
Subsequently, soldiers of the 8th separate assault battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” cleared the area in the vicinity of Novomlinsk from enemy forces. All enemies were destroyed.
The right bank of Oskol is under the control of the Defense Forces, the General Staff emphasized.
Now Ukrainian flags are flying over Novomlinsk again.
