The number of victims in Ternopil as a result of Shahed hitting a residential building has increased.
A 45-year-old man was killed, and his wife and three other people were injured. The woman is in serious condition. This was reported by the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
Mayor Sergei Nadal informed on Telegram that at about 1.00 an enemy UAV hit the fifth floor of a residential building. Rescuers evacuated 94 residents from 36 apartments. Other residents offered to stay at a warming center at a nearby school.
The supply of communications to the damaged house has been temporarily suspended. Vodokanal provides water delivery. About 20 cars in the courtyard of the house were damaged.
Now experts are assessing the accident rate of entrances. Authorities have ordered new windows for damaged apartments. Work is underway to restore communications.
School No. 23 was temporarily closed due to damage to the windows. Offline learning will resume after the windows are replaced. Residents of the destroyed apartment were temporarily housed in a hotel.
