Ukraine’s entry into NATO could help end the hot war phase started by Russia. And conquered territories can be returned through diplomatic means.

President Vladimir Zelensky said half of his partners would immediately stop supporting him if he raised the issue of sending NATO to Ukraine. He announced this in a joint press conference with the new President of the European Council on Sunday, December 1.

Zelensky also noted that Ukraine considers it a realistic option for the country to join NATO, but during the war it is not subject to Article 5.

“We understand that the 5th Amendment cannot be used throughout the territory of Ukraine during the war,” he said.

Zelensky recently said that Ukraine’s entry into NATO could help end the hot phase of the war started by Russia. And conquered territories can be returned through diplomatic means.

Let’s remember that Ukraine expected to receive an official invitation to NATO at the July summit in Washington, but this did not happen.

Ukraine has called on NATO to give it an invitation to join the Alliance at a meeting to be held on December 3-4 in Brussels.
