    .

According to operational information, the deputy chairman of the regional council received the passport of the aggressor country back in 2014 in occupied Sevastopol. The official also owns a driver’s license and a tax number, which is needed, in particular, to pay taxes in Russia. This was reported in the State Bureau of Investigation.

It is noted that law enforcement officers have already applied to the Kharkiv Regional Council with the aim of removing the official from office. This must be done because an official of this rank has access to information related to the defense of the Kharkiv region and other, including secret information. The regional council plans to consider this issue in the near future.

The DBR added that on February 24 they systematically work out information to identify citizens, including security officials and government officials who may be Russia’s accomplices.

Recall that the Russian occupiers have already begun issuing passports to Russian citizens in the occupied territory in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The aggressor country does not interfere with the fact that the forced passportization of the inhabitants of the occupied territories violates international humanitarian law.
