Russia is no longer hiding its cyber attacks on Poland. This was announced on Friday, November 29, by Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski during the opening of the Digital Skills Summit conference, writes TVN24.
He emphasized that these attacks were deliberate and aimed at identifying weak points in Poland’s infrastructure.
“Russia is no longer hiding the fact that it is in a state of cyber war with Poland. They are attacking and doing it deliberately. They know where our weaknesses are,” Gavkovsky said.
The minister also noted that in 2024 there will be twice as many cybersecurity incidents in Poland as in 2023, and three times as many as in 2022. Most of these attacks are directed from Russia.
Russia intends to carry out a series of sabotage actions on US defense industry enterprises.
