The President reported 1,120 massive Russian attacks against the Ukrainian energy system.
Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has carried out 1,120 massive attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a meeting with parliamentarians and diplomats from Latin American countries on Friday, November 29.
“Russia has carried out 1,120 massive attacks against the Ukrainian energy system during this war against energy transmission generation.
According to Zelensky, it is unlikely that a single country in the world alone, without support, can withstand such fear.
“Supporting our stability within the state, recovering from enemy attacks is something that is very necessary and I think that your countries can help us in this matter,” the president emphasized, addressing representatives of Latin American countries.
Let’s recall that in the last two major attacks on the Ukrainian energy system, on November 17 and 28, Russia used 211 missiles and 187 attack drones.
As you know, on November 28, Russia dealt a massive blow to Ukraine’s energy sector. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in Rivne, Lviv, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions. Overall, damage was recorded in 14 regions of Ukraine.
