Ukrainian intelligence officers destroyed an expensive radar complex of the Russian army.
Soldiers of the “Wings” unit, part of the active operations department of the Main Intelligence Directorate, discovered and struck the “Zoo” radar complex of the Russian invaders. The cost of such a radar is approximately 1 billion UAH. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on November 29.
It is noted that to destroy Russian equipment, intelligence officers used four long-range FPV drones worth 100 thousand UAH.
As you know, Zoo-1 is a Russian reconnaissance and fire control radar complex designed for reconnaissance and detection of fire from ground-based artillery systems: cannon artillery and MLRS. The system determines artillery positions using radar, detecting the flight path of different ammunition when firing.
Let us recall that on November 28, Ukrainian military intelligence conducted a successful operation near the village of Kotovskoye in western Crimea. GUR soldiers burned the Russian Podlet radar complex worth $5 million.
