An internal audit of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine found that there is a risk of non-delivery of combat kits worth UAH 45 billion.
People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko announced this today, November 27, in his Telegram channel.
The People’s Deputy published a fragment of the relevant document, which indicates that 45 billion is about 20% of all contracted goods.
That is, they paid the money – but where is the goods? Not only is the entire batch defective.
Goncharenko noted that, according to an audit of the Ministry of Defense, supply problems were known back in July.
The fragment of the document cited by the people’s deputy indicates that the existence of certain risks was reported, in particular:
- availability, quality, continuous and timely supply of critical import components and raw materials;
- timely training of qualified production personnel, expansion of existing production space and creation of additional technological equipment.
Let us remind you that recently messages appeared on social networks about the low quality of mines received by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Ministry of Defense has already stated that it has already begun to investigate the reasons for the supply of defective mines to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
