Ukraine received 4.8 billion dollars. from the World Bank within the framework of the PEACE project

    Ukraine received 4.8 billion dollars. from the World Bank.

    The money came from the PEACE project. This is the largest investment project in the history of the bank, launched to support our state in the implementation of reforms, social and educational spheres, healthcare, agricultural producers, as well as restoration projects. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced this on Telegram.

    According to him, since the beginning of a full-scale war, almost $50 billion has been raised due to World Bank mechanisms.

    We are very grateful to the United States and development partners who are funding PEACE assistance. We thank the World Bank for its constant involvement and active support of initiatives that strengthen Ukraine,” Szmigal noted.

    Let us remind you that Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal said that the Cabinet of Ministers on November 22 adopted a decision that will make it possible to attract these funds within the framework of the PEACE project.
