Harris is not ruling out a run for president

US Vice President Kamala Harris has told advisers and allies to keep her options open – for a possible 2028 presidential campaign or even a run for governor in her home state of California in two years . Politico reported this on Tuesday, November 26.

According to people close to Harris, who wished to remain anonymous, he wants to consider possible options for a political career.

“The natural thing was to create some kind of structure that would give him the opportunity to travel, give speeches and maintain his political connections,” said a former Harris campaign aide.

The reporters noted that “Harris and his advisers are working to determine how and when he will oppose Donald Trump and reaffirm his role in the Democratic Party.”

At the end of his term as vice president, he will face the inauguration of the incoming president on January 20.

“There will be a desire to hear his voice, and the vacuum won’t last long,” said one person close to Harris.

The authors recalled that it was really difficult for Harris, because he had little time to prepare for the race.

“No one – no one can understand what he’s been through in the last four months. And I don’t deny at all that he needs time to figure it out,” said Paul Maslin, a Democratic pollster.
