On the night of November 26, in a massive drone attack, the Russians struck Ternopil. As a result of the attack, the city was left partially without electricity supply.
As a result of tonight’s Russian drone attack in the Ternopil region, some of Kyivstar’s base stations were left without power. Therefore, communication and Internet problems may arise. Suspilne wrote this in connection with a statement from the mobile operator.
As mentioned by the company, 12 mobile and three stationary generators were brought in to support the operation of the network from five in the morning.
However, subscribers may experience difficulties with voice and Internet communications.
“The company’s specialists continue to take all measures to support the operation of the network until the power supply to the base stations is fully restored,” Kyivstar added.
We remind you that on the night of November 26, Russia used a record number of suicide bombers against Ukraine – 188. Most of them were shot down or under the influence of electronic warfare, but there were some hits.
After the drone attack, Ternopil and the region were de-energized – emergency shutdowns were introduced there. And later the authorities reported the destruction of an energy facility that supplied 70% of the Ternopil region.
Currently, the region has strict blackout schedules: most lines will only receive power for two hours a day.
