The Russians opened fire on civilians with automatic weapons, resulting in two local residents dying on the spot.
In Toretsk, the Russian military killed two and wounded one civilian. The prosecutor’s office has now launched an investigation. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Sunday, November 24.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Bakhmut District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into violation of the laws and customs of war, including premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) ,” the message noted.
According to the investigation, on November 21, around 18:00, the representatives of the army of the aggressor state were again destroyed in violation of the norms of international humanitarian law.
Russian soldiers entered one of the apartments in a residential area of Toretsk, where there were three civilians. The Russians deliberately opened fire on them with automatic weapons, as a result of which two local residents died on the spot. The man next to them was injured, with a broken shoulder and collarbone.
The victim is provided with qualified medical care.
