Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bogdan Drapyaty stated this in an interview with Zerkalo Nedeli, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Drapyaty recalled that since June 2023 the Unified Register of Weapons and the electronic account of the owner of the weapon have been in operation. According to him, this has significantly simplified the process for citizens to submit documents for obtaining or renewing permits.
It is noted that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a survey among users of the electronic account, which showed that citizens want to see maps of shooting ranges and shooting ranges, weapon repair shops, and weapons stores in its functionality.
There is a high demand for continued digitalization of services, so this is our unconditional priority in the entire system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, determined by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko, added Drapyaty.
