France and Great Britain will take on global challenges, defend the global order and oppose the threats of the “Putinization” policy.
The Foreign Ministers of Great Britain David Lemmy and France Jean-Noël Barrault expressed their joint intention to fight the “Putinization” of the world. They made this statement at a meeting on Friday, November 22, in London, EFE reports.
It was noted that in a joint statement, the ministers condemned Vladimir Putin’s attempts to “rewrite the international order.”
“France and Great Britain, together with our allies, will do everything necessary to provide Ukraine with the best conditions for achieving a just and lasting peace,” the statement said.
As diplomats emphasize, Putin’s policies have created a dangerous precedent for unpunished aggression in neighboring countries, which is full of security not only of Europe, but of the whole world.
The ministers emphasized that the consequences of such a policy are already obvious to the world. In particular, North Korea is increasing destabilization in Asia, Iran continues to influence the Middle East through its allies and abandons restrictions on its nuclear program.
This meeting and joint statement underline the commitment of France and the UK to work together on global challenges, defend the international order and counter the threats posed by Putinization.
Let’s recall that on November 12, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed Ukraine privately.
