Diplomatic relations between Poland and Russia have experienced a significant deterioration since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said the country will close all Russian Federation consulates in the country if Moscow continues sabotage in Europe. This was reported by The Guardian on Tuesday, November 19.
“I closed the consulate in Poznan. If they don’t stop (carrying out sabotage in Europe – ed.), we will also close the rest,” said Sikorski.
We remind you that Russian diplomats will leave the consulate in Poznan in the coming days, and the Polish government, in turn, will respond favorably to Kyiv’s request to organize a Ukrainian consulate in the same place.
