Lebanon said it sent the draft agreement to the US Ambassador with some comments. They also noted that now everything depends on Israel.
Lebanon and Hezbollah approve US proposed draft cease-fire agreement with Israel. However, they made some comments on the content. This was reported by Reuters, citing the words of the Assistant Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Ali Hassan Khalil.
He noted that Lebanon sent its written response to the American Ambassador in Beirut, Lisa Johnson, on November 18. According to the official, now everything depends on Israel.
Khalil emphasized that the comments were presented in a positive way, but details were not given. As Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said earlier, the republic’s authorities will now discuss the details of the agreement with US emissary Amos Gokstin, who will soon visit Beirut.
Earlier, Israel announced “definite progress” in the ceasefire with Hezbollah.
It was also reported that on Monday night Hezbollah attacked a suburb of Tel Aviv: there were wounded.
