Due to a massive enemy attack on November 17, two railway workers were killed in the Dnepropetrovsk region. In addition, some railway sections in the south, west and northeast of Ukraine have been de-energized, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
“We have sad news from the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a result of the enemy’s attack on the depot, two railway workers were injured. Three more of our colleagues were injured, their condition is still satisfactory,” stressed the company.
At 9:42 the following trains are running with delay: No. 51 Zaporozhye – Odessa; 207 Kharkiv – Odessa; No. 25/135 Yasinya, Chernivtsi – Odessa; 78 Kovel – Odessa; 87 Zaporozhye – Kovel; 59 Kharkiv – Odessa.
As of 10:20, all passenger trains resumed service.
“The de-energized sections of the railways are connected to nearby substations, most trains continue to move with regular electric locomotives. In the sections where the power supply has not been restored, the trains is moving under backup diesel locomotives,” added Ukrzaliznytsia.
