The guards discovered the enemy’s anti-aircraft complex during reconnaissance operations in one of the “hottest” areas on the front.
National Guard troops destroy a Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klimenko, on Saturday, November 16.
“Fighters of the strike UAV unit of the 27th Pechersk brigade of the National Guard destroyed Russia’s expensive BUK-M1 anti-aircraft missile system,” he said.
According to Klimenko, the guards discovered the enemy’s air defense system during reconnaissance operations in one of the “hottest” areas of the front.
“With an accurate strike, the enemy’s equipment was destroyed on the ground. The cost of such a complex (depending on the modification) reached $100 million,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Let’s recall that in early November, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s unmanned systems hit a Buk M-2 launcher. It was then noted that this was the fourth high-cost enemy air defense system in the last two weeks.
And at the end of October, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two powerful Pion self-propelled guns behind Russian lines.
