President Biden has pledged to ensure that every dollar available to the White House is spent on Ukraine.
The administration of American President Joe Biden is “full of determination” to transfer all the funds allocated for it to Ukraine for its fight against the Russian invaders. They will arrive before the inauguration of Donald Trump. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this on Friday, November 15, in Brussels, reports the Associated Press.
“The Biden administration is committed to helping Ukraine continue to resist a full-scale Russian invasion next year by sending more aid to ensure the country can deter its aggressors and gain a strong position in any potential negotiations,” Blinken said.
He added that the money earmarked for Kyiv will be used before January 20, when President-elect Donald Trump is due to take the oath of office.
The head of the American foreign policy department added that NATO countries should focus their efforts on “giving Ukraine money and weapons to fight effectively in 2025 or be able to negotiate peace from a position of strength .”
Earlier, Mark Rutte called on the world community for more decisive support for Ukraine to “raise the price” for Putin and his allies.
