The police have launched criminal proceedings into the shooting in the village of Schastlivoe in the Kyiv region.
The actions of one of the representatives of the warning group were classified as hooliganism. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police.
As investigators found out, the alert group, on the orders of the TCC, checked men for the presence of military registration documents near one of the enterprises. While checking the driver’s documents, the passenger got out of the car and ran into the territory of the enterprise, the report says.
At that moment, a representative of the volunteer formation, who was in the warning group, on his own initiative began to catch up with him and fired two shots into the air. There were no injuries as a result of the incident, police added.
It is noted that the police seized a device for shooting rubber balls and cartridges. The actions of the DFTG representative are qualified under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years in prison.
Let us remind you that today, November 15, a video appeared on social networks in which a man in military uniform runs after a civilian and shoots in his direction. It is alleged that the video was filmed on the territory of a warehouse complex in the village of Schastlivoe, Kyiv region. The Ministry of Defense subsequently stated that the video was “an employee of the territorial recruitment center in Schaslyve.”
