A criminal case was opened regarding the shooting in the village of Schastlivoe in the Kyiv region. An employee of a territorial acquisition center faces a prison sentence. This was reported by the press service of the main department of the National Police of the Kyiv region.

According to police, the alert team was checking the men for military registration documents at one of the businesses. Upon checking the driver’s documents, the passenger got out of the car and ran into the territory of the business.
At that moment, a representative of a volunteer formation who was in the warning group, on his own initiative, began to overtake him and fired two shots into the air. No one was killed in the incident.
