The Russian tricolor was spotted in the border area of the Chernigov region.
The flag of the aggressor country was planted near the border on a destroyed bridge over the Sudost River. Russian propaganda spread information that their sabotage and reconnaissance group entered the village of Gremyach. However, this statement is not true. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on November 15 in Telegram.
Border guards claim that they did not cross the bridge over the Sudost River, where enemy saboteurs planted a tricolor.
It is noted that the territory where the Russian DRG operated from the border was actually cut off by rivers. And now no one lives in the settlements that are located between the rivers and the border. In addition, it is impossible to build proper fortifications there due to regular flooding.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are in complete control of this direction and are in the most advantageous positions to hold the line. Therefore, you should not be subjected to the enemy’s informational and psychological influence, the GNSU emphasized.
Let us remind you that in August, in the 20-kilometer border zone of the Sumy region, restrictions were introduced on the movement of citizens due to an increase in the number of battles and the intensification of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
