An increase in military conscription from 1.5 to 5% is supported by 64% of Ukrainians. This is confirmed by Rating group surveys commissioned by the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research.
In particular, 32% of respondents answered “I really support”, the same number answered “I rather support”.
At the same time, “I really don’t support” and “I rather don’t support,” answered 32% of the respondents, another 5% did not give an answer.

Also, the increase is most supported in the western regions. Among age groups, the decision found the greatest support in the over-51 category.
The survey was conducted throughout Ukraine (except for the occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass) from September 27 to October 1, 2024.
