The Agency for Search and Asset Management sold the first 16 paintings from the arrested collection of the treason suspect, former People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk through the Prozorro.Sales system. This was reported by the ARMA press service on Wednesday, November 13.
The total amount from the sale of these paintings reached almost 317 thousand Hryvnias.

“All funds from the sale of Medvedchuk’s collection will be used for the economy and the purchase of military bonds, that is, for direct support of the state’s defense capabilities,” said ARMA Chairman Elena Duma.
The press service added that 120 paintings are awaiting their new owners in the next auctions. From now on, part of the paintings will be sold every day. The next 19 paintings will be put up for sale tomorrow.
We remind you that ARMA received expert findings on seized paintings belonging to former People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, who is suspected of high treason.
Subsequently, experts from the National Art Museum of Ukraine indicated that 112 paintings have historical and cultural value.
Previously for online auctions in the Prozorro system. The collection of watches of the former Medvedchuk, worth 10.6 million UAH, is for sale.
