Flooding of populated areas as a result of damage to the Kurakhovskoye Reservoir dam has not been recorded.

The head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadim Filashkin, said that as a result of the Russians’ damage to the dam of the Kurakhovsky reservoir, 20 million cubic meters of water have already been spilled. However, there is no flooding in populated areas. He said this in a telethon on Wednesday, November 13.

“The day before yesterday, the occupier blew up the Kurakhovskoye reservoir dam, which contained 55 million cubic meters of water that flowed across the Kurakhovskoye reservoir,” said Filashkin.

At the same time, he ensured that there would be no flooding in the Volchya River settlements.

“There is also no threat to the population left in those small villages. We got all the children out earlier,” the OBA chief explained.

We remind you that on November 11, the Russians blew up the Kurakhovsky reservoir dam in the Donetsk region. Water from the reservoir began to fill the Volchya River towards the settlements of Bogatyr, Andreevka and Alekseevka.

Subsequently, it became known that the moment of the explosion at the dam near Kurakhovo was captured on video.
