A student from Brazil underwent breast reduction surgery, removing 10 kg of tissue, which is why she suffered from pain and health problems for a long time.
21-year-old student Tainana Marcondes underwent surgery to remove 10kg of breast tissue after her breasts grew rapidly in recent months, MSN reports.
According to the young woman, each of her breasts weighed about five kilograms, which caused severe pain in her back, shoulders and neck, and also limited her daily activities.
After seeking medical help, Teinara consulted a mammologist, who, after tests, ruled out the possibility of cancer. It turned out that the girl was suffering from a rare disease like gigantomastia. Later, the girl raised about $8,000 through charitable donations to perform the surgery.
The procedure took about 13 hours and involved the detachment and grafting of the nipples and areolas, which resulted in a loss of sensation and the inability to breastfeed.
“Now I want to wear a swimsuit, run, do many things,” said Tainana, sharing her experience on social networks.
It was previously reported that the girl said that her breasts, which were reduced during the operation, returned to their original size.
In Norway, a tumor was removed from a man weighing 27 kg
