The situation around Kurakhovo continues to deteriorate.

The Russians continue to implement their large-scale plan to cordon off the city, moving in from the flanks. The Muscovites have increased pressure in new directions, are trying to enter the logistics routes of the Defense Forces, and from that moment this process is only gaining momentum. Today, Muscovites are storming the positions of the Ukrainian military from the north, south and east.
The northern and southern parts are the goal of bypassing the city from the flanks, where it is important for the enemy to take at least fire control of the H15 Zaporozhye-Donetsk highway and enough to carry out defeats along any movement.
From the south, movement is carried out along the Yasnaya Polyana-Maksimovka-Trudovoye directorate, where there is constant pressure and losses, but the Katsaps are making progress. There are about 10 km left from the LBZ to the highway, and the fortifications in this area leave much to be desired.
From the north, the Mokovyts focused their maximum attention on the settlement. Soltsovka, there have been attempts to successfully enter the village itself, but so far the Defense Forces have been able to destroy the infantry. Constant pressure from small groups, which, if they survive, try to hide in order to accumulate, makes itself felt and sooner or later will provide an opportunity to gain a foothold. Today the Katsaps started the day with active shelling. In parallel with this, there are active attempts to climb to Berestki and Starye Terny.
The eastern side of the assault operations is also successful for the Muscovites, who climb onto the eastern outskirts of the city and are also trying to saturate and gain a foothold. Here, as an attempt at additional pressure and a distracting maneuver, it works as a win-win for Muscovites, because this is additional attention from resources on our part and we can endlessly submit reports about “full control of the city within its borders,” but this will not change the situation.
At the same time, an unfavorable situation is developing in the “pocket” in the area of the settlements of Antonovka-Ekaterinivka-Elizavetovka, because the Katsaps have become more active and are constantly attacking the positions of the Ukrainian military. When Rusna exits the H15 highway, this section will be the most dangerous to stay.
We must remind you once again that “lies will destroy us all,” but even in attracting additional resources arriving in the Kurakhovo area, questions arise about the adequacy of the deployment. With such actions, the loss of control over Kurakhov remains a matter of time. And if you don’t take control of the problem with the flanks, then very soon it will turn into another disaster,” public analysts write.
