The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Kursk is to deter and destroy the enemy on his soil, the commander-in-chief said.
The task of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which has been conducting an operation in the Kursk region of Russia since August, is to destroy the enemy on its territory. This is what the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky said in Telegram on Monday, November 11.

“The importance of this operational area cannot be underestimated, because the number of enemy troops concentrated there is our task in this direction to deter and destroy the enemy on his ground,” said Syrsky.
According to him, if not for the stability of the Ukrainian military, these tens of thousands of enemies from the best Russian strike units would have attacked the Ukrainian positions in the directions of Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky or Toretsky, which will greatly worsen the situation at the front. .
Syrsky noted that the Russian military, following the orders of their military leadership, is trying to dislodge the Ukrainian troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and advance deeper into the territory controlled by Ukrainian troops.
“My work is focused on assisting commanders in organizing combat operations, increasing the effectiveness of destroying enemy fire and solving issues of comprehensive support and training of reserves,” concluded the commander-in -chief.
Let’s recall that earlier the military’s Special Operations Forces conducted an operation behind Russian lines in the Kursk region and killed 14 Russian military personnel.
