Blackouts were introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Donetsk and Sumy regions.

Ukrenergo actively uses emergency power outages to reduce the possible consequences of a missile attack on the energy system. The company’s press service reported this on Monday, November 11.

Emergency outages in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Donetsk and Sumy regions were reported to regional electricity supply companies.

It was also learned about a closure in the Cherkasy region.

“On the order of Ukrenergo, on November 11, from 06:31, emergency power outages were applied throughout the region,” wrote the head of Cherkassy Regional Administration Igor Taburets on Telegram.

According to him, the measures taken are aimed at maintaining the energy system of Ukraine.

We remind you that on the morning of November 11, the Air Force reported that eight Tu-95MS aircraft were recorded to have flown over Russia. Then they launched cruise missiles.

Later, the Air Force reported an air raid alert due to the departure from Russia of a MiG-31K fighter jet, which can carry Kinzhal missiles.

As reported, according to Ukrenergo forecasts, this winter will be the hardest in the last three years.
