The soldier’s mother, Caroline Tindal, wrote in a Facebook post that she “fought until she couldn’t stop them.”
“His platoon calls him ‘hero’ and ‘bravest’. 22 years old is a young age. But you live and die with your heart, soul and morals,” the woman wrote.
Callum Tindal-Drayler is a student at Duchy College in Stoke Clymesland, Cornwall, where he is taking a security services course.
“He was very proud of his family history in the services. He was loved and respected by his colleagues, did not shy away from the causes he believed in, and was instrumental in assembling three minibuses of humanitarian equipment for citizens who gathered by students when the war in Ukraine began.” , the college noted.
In this regard, the British Foreign Office said that they are ready to provide the necessary assistance to the family of the deceased.
It was previously reported that a volunteer from Sweden, who has been fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2022, died in the war.
