“With great sadness and regret, this morning I submitted my resignation to the Prime Minister. I wish my successor all the best – this is the best job in government,” the minister said.
British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid have resigned after criticizing Prime Minister Boris Johnson over their statements.
It was also reported that Johnson plans to stay in office and has already appointed new ministers to replace those who resigned.
