Innovative technology for detecting FPV drones has been patented in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense received the first patent for technology for detecting hostile FPV drones called “Windmill M”. The development was created by Ukrainian military engineers from the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this on November 8 in Telegram.
It is noted that the “Windmill M” has already been codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department emphasized that this is the first time that a military unit has developed this technology and successfully codified it as a supply item.
Patenting became possible thanks to the department for intellectual property of the Ministry of Defense, created in the Main Directorate of Military Justice in September 2024, the Ministry of Defense noted.
Let us recall that in August, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine had successfully tested the first ballistic missile of its own production. This weapon has already been tested.
