Such a modified and maneuverable combat unit is already working on the Russians at the front. The video of the work “Cornflower on the invaders on July 6 was published on Telegram by the Office of Strategic Communications of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the information of the Military portal, the 2B9 mortar was developed according to the scheme of a breech-loading artillery gun, while opening the shutter, feeding the mine to the charging line, sending the mine to the barn, closing the shutter and firing automatically.
Shooting from “Cornflower” can be carried out by single shots and automatically, at a rate of 170 rounds per minute. The practical rate of fire is 100-120 rounds per minute.
Each cassette contains four shots, consisting of a fragmentation mine and a propellant charge. The maximum firing range of a fragmentation mine is 4,270 m, and the minimum is 770 m.
Recall that Ukrainian craftsmen upgraded a Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck for a multiple launch rocket system – they installed a C-8 missile launcher from a downed Russian Ka-52 combat helicopter on the car. Such powerful weapons are already inflicting serious losses on the enemy.
