On November 8, the government removed Roman Opimakh from the position of head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil.
The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Roman Opimakh from the position of head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine. This was reported by the government press service on Friday, November 8.
The Cabinet of Ministers temporarily entrusted the duties of the head of State Geonadr to Sergei Dekhtyarenko. He holds the position of deputy head of this service for digitalization issues.
Opimakh explained his dismissal at the end of his five-year tenure as head of the State Geonadr. He said that within these five years, it is possible to digitize the main services of the State Geonadra and significantly increase their efficiency and transparency.
“The attraction of investments in the development of underground use sectors continued, even during the war years. This year, the state budget revenues from the sale of special permit has reached 3 billion UAH regularly prepared new items used underground for electronic auctions, holding open auctions during its work “More than 500 special permit for subsoil use was sold at auction for almost UAH 6 billion,” said Opimakh.
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Roman Opimakh as the head of the State Geonadr in November 2019. He won the competition for the head of this service, and before that he headed the Association of Gas Producing Companies of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers fired the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Yuriy Dzhigir, who had been in this position for more than a year.
